TCS Design Staff (l to r) Ciprian Malaescu, Miguel Denny and Norman Trebilcock
Norman has managed engineering projects in Southwest Florida for 25 years, specializing in transportation and roadway design services. He has provided innovative permitting and design services on hundreds of miles of safe and efficient roadways, and on thousands of acres of land development projects. The TCS staff works closely and well with county, city and permitting agencies throughout the region, and lends his expertise to the area’s most notable land developing companies.
Norman continues to meet the challenges of today’s development head on. He is able to thoroughly address project details while working within the bigger picture. As project issues arise, he is flexible and can change course to bring the project to the best end result, and, he always provides cost effective design solutions without ever compromising quality.
Norman holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Public Works from both the Universities of Miami and Florida. He is currently secretary of the Florida Engineering Society, Calusa Chapter.
Early in his career, Norman was active in the U.S. Army Reserve and Florida National Guard. He provided emergency response support after Hurricane Andrew in Miami for which he was awarded the Florida Distinguished Service Medal. He also feels strongly in giving back to the community, volunteering his time and engineering efforts on many community boards, projects and in our schools, and helping as far away as Haiti to provide better living conditions for those in dire need.
The most-needed subdivision Norman has ever worked on – aptly named “Miracle Village” – is well on its way to completion in Haiti. It will be home to 2,500 earthquake evacuees and amputees. He is passionate about providing the best engineering services possible on any project, and always feels directly responsible for its outcome.
